Advisory Teachers for Children in public care

To make sure that you are helped as much as possible at school, or to help arrange a new school for you, all children and young people looked after by Children Schools and Families have an advisory teacher. Advisory teachers don’t actually teach!  Instead they use all their knowledge about teaching young people to make sure that your education is being looked after and to make good education plans for you.  These teachers will help you do the best that you can in education to help your future.

Advisory teachers will want to meet with you to listen to how you feel about your school or education and you can contact them if you are worried about anything to do with your school or education.
