Being Bullied
Being bullied at school can make you feel miserable, frightened and angry. It can also stop you making the most of your education. Bullies can find all sorts of reasons for picking on someone - their appearance, racial origin, their clothes, the fact that they work hard or even because they are in care.
If you are being bullied, tell someone. If you’re frightened of what will happen if you do, ask your social worker or carer to come into school and talk to the designated teacher or your tutor.
All schools have rules explaining what happens when bullying takes place which are there to protect pupils. However no-one can stop bullying if you don’t tell teachers and carers what is going on. You can also find someone to talk to on the 'Helplines' page.
