Where next?

When you reach the end of year 11 there are various options don’t just assume that you have to go to college or get a job. Talk to your Connexions Personal Advisor or a careers teacher/advisor to find out the full range of what’s available.  There is a new policy for Care Leavers in Hertfordshire that says you will be supported in education, training or employment when you leave care.

Also think carefully about what would suit you; what you are interested in, what you are good at. Talk to people who know you well. Don’t let someone push you into doing something because it is an easy option for them.
