Placement with parents

Sometimes you may be on a “Care Order” but able to live at home.  This usually happens when you have been “looked after” away from home for a while, but things have changed and you are now ready to go back home. Special permission has to be given to spend more than 24 hours in the care of your parent if you are on a care order so that a proper decsion can be made that is is safe for this to happen.

Sometimes in this situation you may go back to live at home, but it may be a while before the social worker goes back to court to get the Care Order removed from you.
