Appeal

If a court makes an Order for you to be looked after by Children, Schools and Families (CSF), and you or your parents think that this is the wrong decision, you can appeal against it.  This is a formal way of saying that you think the judge “got it wrong”. You can also appeal about other Orders, such as an Education Supervision Order.

You must have a really good reason to think that the court made a mistake; like the court did not get the right information about things or maybe that someone lied.  You cannot appeal just because you don’t like what the court decided.
