County Councillors
The people living in each area of Hertfordshire vote for their County Councillor who has a special responsibility to listen to what the people in that area think. You, or your parents, can contact the Councillor for your area if you have a problem about any of the services that Hertfordshire County Council provides. You can find his or her telephone number at an Advice Centre or ask someone to help you find it.
County Councillors have been given a special responsibility by the Government to make sure that children that are looked after in public care are being well treated in their county. This means that they are really keen to hear what you have to say.
