Sponsorship for Further education

Children Schools and Families is committed to supporting young people who are leaving care to go on to college or university. They will sponsor care leavers, paying them up to £7,727 a year (2009/10 rates) to cover the cost of living as well as the course fees.  In addition to this CSF will also meet the costs for any essential equipment and trips associated with your study/training.  For further advice, on either of the above, contact the CSF Service centre on 01438 737500 (East area) or 01923 471500 (West area)  and ask to speak to the Manager for Education, Training and Employment for Care Leavers.
